Applied mechanics is the branch of science concerned with the motion of any substance that can be experienced or perceived by humans without the help of instruments. In other words, it deals with the practical application of mechanics principles to solve real-world engineering problems.

It deals with the design, construction, control, sensory feedback, and information processing related to robots. These robots are not mere mechanical entities; they possess the ability to perform tasks that were traditionally carried out by humans.
